She was riding her moto in front of a gas station when there was a massive explosion. Her spirit was contagious and filled the world with light. She believed in her ability to make change and to spread love. Abbey’s Family continue to struggle through this devastating loss. The Toronto Police Amateur Athletics Association hosted a 5km charity run, with all proceeds benefiting Abbey’s Goal. She cared about making a difference in the lives of others globally, within her community and in the lives of those she loved. This year, we are thrilled to announce a special new initiative within Abbey’s Goal called Abbey’s Adventure Fund.
Tickets are $30 each with $6 from each ticket going to Abbey’s Goal Memorial Fund.
In honor of Abbey we are starting a memorial scholarship to help others like her who struggle with anxiety and depression.
Our goal is to raise funds to provide support to those like Abbey who suffer from anxiety and depression. Our mission is to spread love. She’s been transported to a hospital with a better burn unit and the costs will add up quickly. Abbey’s Goal, just like Abbey, is rooted in the hockey community, but reaches out in so many other ways. Abbey lived her life with bravery, compassion, laughter, kindness and love.
