I also was able to watch the oiran procession... her heels were amazing Adults & Kids will surely love quick lessons they share on Daruma Doll painting, horseback archery & a wedding procession. They have mini activities here and there and shows you can watch.

We were not lost in translation because some of the staff there were young and knows how to speak English. There are also restaurants inside so you won’t go hungry, as well as drinks for those who want a cold glass of beer to refresh them. If you have a japanese rail pass and a free day this is well worth it with a few caveats.
