Completely different experience starting Friday night. We don’t even care about the new policies like no daily room cleaning. The front desk Sophie is so professional, sweet and accommodating. Highly recommend, especially if you're traveling with your pup and/or family!This place sucks!! We had acces to kayaks which we did not get to use on count of the water being to rough. The resort had everything we needed, including a shuttle in to town, kayaks, bikes, etc. Uniquely repurposed items that made the ambiance comfortable. Are any cleaning services offered at Amara Cay Resort?Yes, dry cleaning and laundry service are offered to guests. We were so shocked. This was not normal drunk behavior.

It was nice to be able to swim, and charge drinks and food right to the room, It was very reasonable and convenient, The only thing I didn't like was the walls were thin so when upstairs came into their room and started playing "Sweet Caroline" I could sing along with them. My fiance and I had to postpone our wedding due to COVID-19 but wanted to get away for a few days to celebrate the weekend (We are from Texas). The exterior of The Islamorada Resort looks like a typical value hotel chain and the interior is somewhat worn, with tired public areas and guest rooms. Reflecting the easy tranquility of the Upper Keys, Amara Cay Resort seamlessly blends recreation with relaxation. They gave us an exceptional room, in addition. Took them a while to answer but eventually security came up. Enjoyed the view and the pool. Popular attractions Theater of the Sea and Bud n' Mary's Dive Center are located nearby. As soon as we entered we were checked in by the most helpful and cheerful member of staff! Look, I know it’s been a tough year with COVID and all. But had a blast. Do not count with the beach, for me the pool was enough. When we arrived on 7/8, we were surprised to be upgraded to an incredible SUITE facing the ocean!
Enjoyed the view and the pool. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I booked online. The Tiki hut lady is also unfriendly and treats guests as a burden. We chose Amara Cay and couldn't be happier. The resort is clean, and employees are sanitizing. Weekdays were great. Hammocks dot the sandy shoreline, palm trees sway in the breeze and a shimmering oceanfront pool beckons early risers.
