At the end of it, of course no one can stop you from naming your son Lucifer but even if I loved the name, I wouldn't just for the kid's sake.Even if you're not a Christian and have no opinions on this name, just don't do it for the kid's sake. Also, outside of pagan/wiccan religions most people don't believe Lilith actually existed. Christian's just used Lucifer because of it's Latin meaning. But even if they were the same; so what?
Remember, anyone can be a Goth; even a Christian. If anything, naming your child Lucifer will teach them a lot about human perspective and defying stereotypes.
